You Gotta Have Faith

It might have taken until 2009 for Paloma Faith to break through, but you sense in the Londoner’s head she was always famous - too fabulous to do an ordinary job, and far too talented. She first became known as an actress, taking roles in 2007 film St Trinian’s and Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus in 2009 before concentrating on music - with great success. Her three albums have all gone Top 10 and her live performances are always flamboyant, outrageous and original.

Paloma was part of the God Only Knows video to celebrate the launch of Â鶹Éç Music, and she’s been a mainstay on Later… with Jools Holland ever since Jools first heard her jazzy, sultry voice on 2009 debut album Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful? We’ll take something beautiful this Glastonbury, but, as ever with Paloma, the truth is never that far behind.
