Glass Animals
Fri 26 Jun 2015 The Park Stage
Oxford's Breakable Animal Collective

It’s been a year since Glass Animals graced the Â鶹Éç Introducing stage at last year’s Glastonbury with their floating, woody RnB-infused electronica. Having been supported by Â鶹Éç Oxford - who went on to name them band of the year - they released their debut album Zaba, on Wolf Tone, the record label started by Adele and Florence + the Machine’s producer Paul Epworth. They have toured with St Vincent, and recorded two sessions for 6 Music.

They also went on to follow the dreamy success of the single Pools with two songs with names that sound like lost members of Snow White’s Seven Dwarves: first Gooey and then Hazey. It is a little unfair to poke fun at their song titles however, especially when you consider they once considered calling themselves Alligator Puffin Chicken Go Yeh Woo. Anything seems sensible after that.
