G谩l鈥檚 Cello Concerto was first performed in Sweden in 1950 Here, 麻豆社 Radio 3 presenter Andrew McGregor, together with Raphael Wallfisch, outline the composer鈥檚 life and some of the many influences which came to bear on his creative style. The 麻豆社 SSO conducted by Grant Llewellyn plays some specially selected examples of his music and then Raphael Wallfisch performs the Concerto complete.
