If you are finishing off a night shift, or having to make an early start, it's Judy's job to give you a mixture of music and chat along with the essential travel and weather information.

After her show, Judy heads straight for the Romanse Centre to present the Hampshire and Isle of Wight travel news during Julian Clegg's breakfast show (Geoff Allen looks after the Dorset side of things).

Thousands of people throughout the world receive her weekly Fact Sheets on useful websites and IT hints by email - and hear her discuss the website of the week with Julian on Tuesday mornings - the J Drive is on at 7.40am.听

Judy's relationship with 麻豆社 Radio Solent dates back to 1996 when she became the station's computer guru (she'd just opened an IT Training Centre).

Her New Year's resolution for 2001 was to pluck up the courage to ask if she would ever be considered as a broadcaster at 麻豆社 Radio Solent and was astonished to find herself posted at the Romanse Centre as a travel reporter.

Amazed to find herself with a new career at the age most of her friends are looking forward to retirement, and able to make the most of the fact that her two children have flown the nest, she loves exploring all the nooks and crannies of the 麻豆社 Radio Solent region.

She's lived within its boundaries nearly all her life but the job provides an excellent excuse to visit every pub and tourist attraction in Hampshire as well as Dorset and the Isle of Wight!

An avid dressmaker, listeners found themselves, in September 2005, sharing in the experience of Judy making her daughter in law's wedding dress. "Have you got a picture" is still the most asked questions when Judy is out and about, meeting people.

She also has an intimate relationship with cones and temporary traffic lights - getting over-excited when she spots some that no-one has mentioned!听

Judy is also works occasionally with Southampton University as a Guest Lecturer in Computer Science.
