Can someone look at the original census for the name of Mary's father, I can't read it perhaps someone with better eyes than I have can.

The head of the household is female. A*y has her as "Roas Gloyd". I can't read the first name v.clearly, but her second one is surely Lloyd.
Will see if I can find her on other census records.
She's listed as "married" rather than "widowed", so husband obviously not at home that night.

It's her mother - can;t read the first but this middle is Lloyd

This is the 1851 census I believe Mary and Richard are Mary (born 1855) parents, but they are very elderly.

Here they are in 1891 - the ages are all to pot and Mary Kingcombe is actually Mrs Hewlett

I think I need the birth cert to sort this out as its a rather messy one, especially with all the milliners
She did marry a chap called Hewitt.
Mary survived the sinking of the Titanic which she sailed on to visit one of her sons and died at another sons home in India.
