Has anyone seen Brian Harvey's garden at Chelsea? While basing his theme around famous motorcar journeys, he is demonstarting intergrated pest management in a most imaginative way.
By dripping water from a metal container- marked "acid"- onto an area of fine turf, he is showing the role that soil pH plays in the maintenace of fine turf, particularly in the control of the earthworm.
