Something or someone is squashing my hedge, a Lonicera about 3' high and 3' deep, and I'm thinking of reinforcing it against this assault. How might this be achieved? I've considered chicken wire, sturdier canes and a draping of bramble; and while it is probably foxes, it could be children, so I don't want them to come to any real harm.
I would start with chicken wire - it should work quite well against humans and smaller animals.
