I am looking for a climbing plant for a west facing wall. Ideally, I would like it to be evergreen with either pretty flowers or foliage. It will jute upto a varigated laburnum and between the two of them create a 45 degree angle - so it would be on the fence that meets up to the laburnum bush. As the laburnum is evergreen it would look good if the climbing plant is also, because it would create a nice corner to look at through the winter months. I thought of Chimonanthus (Winter Sweet) but do not know if this is suitable. If the above is not possible, can anyone suggest any other climbing plant other than clematis or honeysuckle because I've already got varieties of those elsewhere in the garden. I'm only a beginner so any advice would be greatly received. Thank you Rosie
