Hello,
During episode 7 of gardeners world, Monty Don was talking about spring blossom and he referred to the flowers of Thai Haiku. Does anyone know what he was referring to? I have the tree shown in the programme but I don't know what it is and I can't find Thai Haiku in my gardening books or online. I have just moved and haven't seen the tree with full leaves yet.
Try searching for Tai Haku...
This is probably Prunus serrulata 'Tai Haku' and it is an upright growing ornamental cherry. The blossom is white. Here is a link:
