    Hi All

We bought a Snowy Mespilus a couple of weeks ago and planted in the garden (along with several other plants/trees we got from the same place) soon after.

All other plans seem to be thriving but the Snowy has become dry at the top, and I am not sure if I am not watering it right, could you give us some insights on how to treat it?

We have been putting a water can of rain water every evening when it doesn't rain.

    Cheers,

As a general rule, you need to water whether it rains or not, especially if there are only showers rather than heavy rain - plants taken out of pots need to be treated like pot plants for at least three months, longer if they are large.
