Hello
In the proccess of chitting my maincrop spuds and would like to know How many eyes should i leave on sprouting and if only on one end (the blunt end)
There is no need to take any of the eyes off.
No need to de-eye, however. . . there is a school of thought that says, remove all but one eye if you want fewer but larger spuds. Leave all eyes on if you want more but smaller spuds.
I leave it all up to you, believe or no. Cheers, Tony.
