Thanks so much for identifying the tree on the plant ID thread. Alas, it's not in my garden - yet - but I can let my inlaws know what they have got and perhaps acquire one for myself.
The RHS says they can be propagated by hardwood cuttings or seed. Would I get one a decent size in a reasonable time that way or would it be best to purchase one ready grown?
Thanks again

Hi Calendula,
Thanks to Flowerchild, and to you too, for identifying my Tree for me! I'd been meaning to ask about it for ages.
Hope you get one for yourself now. It is lovely.
Oh, and the irony...only yesterday, did I get a chance to look through my April GW mag, and what was there, in amongst a piece on small trees....yes, you guessed it
Yvie
