I have two rasberry plots with about twenty or so bushes on each but due to a bit of neglect the plots have become over run with grass, weeds and sticky backs. The bushes havent been planted in any kind of tidy formation so need to know can the bushes be removed and the plot dug over or is it a case of being on hands and knees and doing it the hard way?
Dig the plants out with a fork and/or spade one by one - it is laborious but you will get there!
When clearing the Resberries and during the digging, remove the weeds and when completely clear, give the soil a good dressing of Growmore or `Fish and Bone` as directed on the box. You can replant straight away.
thanks for that looking forward to the graft!
