I ALL. IS IT OK TO PUT OUT THE SWEET PEAS THEY ARE READY IN THE GREENHOUSE. GIANTSUNGOLD.
Hi Giantsungold
I had the same dilemma today ,made the decision and went for it,I planted out in the garden 2 months earlier than I would normally here in N.E England .Now hope we do not get 6 foot of snow between now and June
Regards and good luck.

I would harden them off first before taking them straight from a warm greenhouse and planting them straight out-the nights are still chilly-gradually let them get used to cooler temperatures
I have had mine out for the last week and planted them out today i'm in Wiltshire and this coming week is suppose to be sun, sun, sun yet still some low nightly temperatures therefore i decided it was time.
Hello all,
I've got loads of Sweet peas in my cold frame, although I'm tempted,I'm going to wait for a while longer before I plant mine out. It is only March, so it's bound to get colder at some point
Sweet peas are fully hardy, so you should be fine putting them out.
thank you all for your advice on putting my sweet peas out the weather here in cheshire is very hot at the moment so i will harden them off and plant them out, thanks everybody for your advice. giantsungold
