I'm not sure whether I should buy slatted or solid staging for my new 8ft x 6ft greenhouse, particularly when thinking about watering. Does anyone have any thoughts?
My vote goes for slatted
In my opinion;
If made of timber - slatted
If made of metal - solid
My vote is get friendly with your baker!
With good old Elf & Safty, the trays which used to be thin ply and are now plastic must be thrown away if there is a crack anywhere where someone delivering bread might get their fingers caught.
Half a dozen bread trays and an afternoon with a hacksaw or cross cut and you will have splendid shelving. Good old lateral thinking ! ! Cheers, Tony.
