Last year I bought various bulbs from Wilkinsons including snowdrops. They have come up find but only one has a flower. Is this normal and the rest need bulking up?
It sounds like they were small bulbs, or possibly had dried out a bit. They should be fine next year. This often happens with snowdrops bought "in the green" by mail order, too, but very rarely with those bought growing in pots.
Thanks. Thought so. When would be a good time to move them out into the garden? They are grown in a pot with some crocus and fritalis. After all has stopped flowering?
Yes, easiest to wait until after they've flowered.
