I have a lovely evergreen grass in a pot. It has been there for about 2 years and I'd like to plant it in a flowerbed. How do I split it and when should I attempt it? I'm on the edge of London and the garden is fairly sheltered.
All grasses are best split and planted in Spring as that is when they form new roots. So any time soon when the soil is reasonably warm is fine.
