I was about to split my pot of lilies when I noticed these bulb looking type things on the surface of the soil.
Are they friend of foe?
They look like baby bulbs to me.
They are the offsets that I told you you may find when you posted a question last week.
They look like baby bulbs to me. I wondered if they were. What can I do with them? Should I just split the pot as I had planned without disturbing them too much?
You could pot them up in a separate pot if you want to grow them on - I seem to remember that you're in Liverpool, and my mother had these flowering in their second year there. Otherwise, just do as you suggested and see what happens.
Thank you Alina (& yes I am in Liverpool) and you too thedogcody your advice is very appreciated.
I will pot them up separately, be very patient and hopefully I wont have to wait too long to see some flowers.
