I have lots of plants in my garden to attract insects, and am expecting lots of buzzy visitors when the weather picks up. However I have window boxes to fill, and want to continue the attractiveness there too. Any suggestions for nectar rich plants suitable for window boxes will be very welcome.
The ones that sprung to mind were english lavender and maybe team it up with a few herbs like thyme or majoram or chives and leave them to flower.
There's always the favourite bedding/basket plants like lobela, bacopa, verbena which always attract bees as well.
Thankyou for that--- Food for thought
