Hi there
Some of you may remember me buying a gel that was a pigeon deterrent. Well I think it did put them off for a short while but unfortunately the little plastic bits to put the gell in got blown away.
I deduced that pigeons are afraid of fire so now I have red tissue paper strips and a red towell hanging over the back of a chair on the balcony where we have the problem. For a week there has been no droppings so I am hoping they dont work out my ruse. My husband thinks I am mad but he will owe me a tenner soon fingers x
If anyone else has a pigeon problem and tries my method please let me know the results.

Thanks for sharing this odd tip, I am just looking at a red tea towel and wondering if it would like to move to the patio
Have you tried hanging up some old cd's on the balcony? Apparently it scares them when the sun glints off the shiny side.
