Same fruit just the 2 side's, it's a bit blurred as it kept falling over so grabbed it while I could.

This made me chuckle... from now on I will view all puzzling 'whatevers' in my garden with a renewed wonderment and consider their photographic value.

Obviously two sets of Grandparent strawberries awaiting the pitter -patter of tiny 'feet'... cute.

Oooooh they're weird as there are 3 tops but only 2 bottoms how strange the wonders of Nature, great fun.

I loved looking at those mis-shapes. How funny. Wouldn't it be good if Supermarkets did a "special/novelty" range? (as if!?)
Someone who used to live near me had a son who worked at a pototoe bagging yard and used to get a lot of reject spuds. Mainly they were ones that were "too big" for the Supermarkets, even for their baking range. All the time we lived there we had lovely massive baked potatoes and very long chips. It's quite worrying what some people will or won't eat.

I had a potato this year which did its utmost to behave like a pear.
Without noticing, I would have put sugar on it. It came up within a
couple of feet of the pear tree.
People will buy and eat so called 'mis-shapes', it is just that the foolish supermarkets like their fruit and vegetables to fit their preconcieved ideas of what they should look like. Or, in the case of some fruits, so that they fit the plastic trays they decided were the 'right' size and shape for them. Luckiy nature is not as silly as that, and so fruits and vegetables will grow any which way they will, often due to s stone, twig, or rather haphazard watering - great fun isn't it?
Agree they should sell differently shaped ones for fun, after all, they will taste the same, and might encourage some non-vegetable eaters to try them.
