Hi all,
This has been my first year at trying to grow beautiful Delphiniums,
i have some small plants now that are still in pots and are outside
they havent flowered but will they die back and come back in spring or will they just stay green...not sure but my efforts have been rewarded with earlier sown delph's that have flowered but these were sewn later from the actual seed pods earlier in the yearbut dont want to loose them??? any help

They will die back but should flower next year, they do take a year or so before they produce flower spikes, I grew some from seed last year and all they have done this year is grow, so be patient they will flower, but I would try and put if you can the pots in a frost free area just in case we have another winter like the last 2.

Delphiniums are Biennial so don't flower in their first year
