I don't need reminding how difficult rose identication can be but please have a look at this orange floribunda which came with the house when we moved here 18yrs ago. It's almost without scent, almost thornless at the tops of the stems but has thorns lower down. Healthy green leaves.
Even a rose expert might have trouble with that one, but in 1992, which fits in with you taking over the property I think a little later, 'Castle of Mey' was introduced, which is quite similar looking to yours.
Just guessing - Sunblest.
If you were really keen to find out, you could count the petals. This would reduce the possibilities, maybe. Happy searching.
My rose is a much deeper yellow than Sunblest, an orange really. But thanks. And Castle of Mey is scented whilst mine isn't. The search goes on.

My rose is a much deeper yellow than Sunblest, an orange really. But thanks. And Castle of Mey is scented whilst mine isn't. The search goes on. It looks very like a rose in my garden called 'Leslie's Dream' which has a lot of large roses on one stem although I think it is a hybrid tea and not a floribunda - I will try to post a photo if I can remember how to do it.
Sorry but it's nothing like mine. 'Leslie's Dream is cream but with a slight apricot coloured centre.
After looking at the pictures and descriptions of dozens of yellow/orange roses I've come to the conclusion that my rose is a floribunda called 'All Gold'.
