Please help a novice gardener,
how successful will my sweet peas grow from a hanging basket, or is it a non starter?
thanks
I'm also interested in growing them this way, would they spill over or curl back on themselves.
Hi mchpeee & Lucie555
found this link which may be of help (sweetpea section under under Lobelia)

Hi Mchpeee. I always put sweet peas in my hanging baskets and they are fine. You have to keep picking off the flowers, but it's no more tedious than the usual dead-heading. They are one of my favourite flowers in the hanging basket, because, as well as the pretty colours and lovely perfume, they make such nice shapes as they curl and twine.
