Even more silence than ever today Is someone getting married????

  Hi All,
  Well the weather here in france has been storms of late and on/off showers,
  but today the weathers not to bad and ive been able to sort a few hanging baskets out ready for a few weeks time.
  
  For those who may wonder if the french are looking at the royal wedding today??
  
  "Yes"
  very much so, and as i was told by my nurse "sister pain" the one who pulls and pushes my recovering leg in all directions"
  they just love all the pomp of the guards and the crowds, and the dress/flowers etc.
  
  So it seemed even more silence was the order of the day in my greenhouse as everyone was stuck to the tele,
  
  But im happy for them and i really do hope it all works out for two people showing signs of being very much in love.
  
  Talking about signs, ive sprayed the rose's and they seem fine now "the dreaded greenfly has gone" and ive some really nice buds half open.
  
  I made my mind up ages ago that i'd only buy roses that had perfume smells,
  Now i now they are a costly rose but i cant see the sense in having a rose that "if you have a nose that works" you cant smell?
  
  And im glad i stuck to my idea, you just cant beat that smell of rose's.
  
  Im hoping to be fit enough by the end of the summer to be able to dig out the two new beds i'd planned early on this year,
  Ive been looking at some of the many gardening books ive got ref design's of bedding area's and one of the best ones is to have all one colour in a bedding area, and so thats my end of summer plan,
  To get the bed dug and edged and the top soil well manured ready for the bulbs to go in during october/november time.
  
  Well this is the good thing about the garden "The planning and the wait for the results next year.
