    Hi All,
Well the weather here has been really good today and so ive been making a list of the sitting down jobs i could be getting on with (until this leg gets a bit better for standing on)

Well i thought i could re-vamp the old stable door, Now we dont have a horse and this stable is used for garaging the lawn mower etc But on the outside of the door we have an old horse shoe, (for luck more than anything)

Anyway while i was taking it off so i could paint the woodwork i was informed by my french neighbour that the shoe was the wrong way up and it should be the opposit way,

I had the shoe so that as you stand in front of it it looked like the letter "U"

Now im told all the luck can't run out if it's nailed on the door this way up!

The french have the shoe so it looks like the letter "n" and it's said this way up the luck can run out!

Anyone got any ideas ref this one???????????????

By the way he called round to tell me the police had speed traps a few km's down the road (He'd just been done for 60euro's) His luck had ran out you might say.

    Evening Punpun

Yep, his luck has run out. Should have had his horseshoe like a U. That's the right way.

    Hi Kit,
Thats how i thought it should be,
The funny thing is ive no chance of driving anything for weeks to come,

I think he's got a soft spot for her in doors,
He asked if she was in and then when he'd gone "the boss told me about his thoughts on horse shoe's,

Ive noticed a few odd things ref the french way of life since moving here,
IE they dont eat turnips, they grow then but dont eat them, they feed them to the animals,

And sweet corn, they'll buy it tinned but not fresh, again its used as a green manure or fed to the animals.

And when it comes to smoking! you'll see a hell of a lot of women smoking.

And (one more thing) when they are on live T.V they all have hand held micropnones, "all standing next to each other or seated and all have one each, it seem's a bit odd after not seeing this practice in the U.K for years.

Flowers are not allowed in hospitals,
and much to some people dismay you dont see alot of men wearing those huge berrets (have i spelt that right?) you know those hats that look like they 've come off the top of a landrover, No only the older men seem to ues this form of head cover,

But men of all ages carry little bags around with their change in etc,
I think its a good idea but one i just can't bring my self round to doing.

Well it's coffee time now so I'LL say good night, good night.
