    Hi All,
Well the weather here today has been nice all day and im pleased to say the geranium seeds i sown 21 days ago have now been re-potted from the seed compost to the next stage (geranium compost) and ive done 120 plants today,

Also 16 tomatoe plants "again from seed" have also been re-potted from seed compost to geranium compost,

for the newer members "seed compost has very little food in it" and so as soon as the true leaves appear thats when you need to re-pot using a compost that has the food to help these small plants really start to grow.

Ive also today, sown 6 large trays of red arrowe "Salvia"
These are for flowering next year but need tobe grown throughtout the summer and put into their flowering possition by oct, so you'll have a nice display next summer.

Ive wallflowers seeds to sow later (may) but these and "Salvia" are liked very much by the slugs so its one to remember if your thinking of growing these plants. (Slug protection is a must)

Now a good sight i managed to see this morning was the "WISTERIA" on the front of our house has got flowers opened on it.

For those who asked last year how long will it take from planting the wisteria until flowers appear! well ours has been in four years now and last year we had the first flowers, this is year five and it looks like it's going tobe a bumper show.

The other thing i thought worth talking about is the "Arbour frame" for climbing roses, I bought this metal round frame with six openings (like doorways but with no doors) and the top of this frame is dome shaped, approx 12 feet high.

Two years ago when i bought it and cleared the ground and then sited this huge frame it really did look a sight,
But i continued with the plan and planted six climbing roses around the frame,
last year the rose roots did their job and rooted good and this helps to anchor the frame down, I did get a little growth and a few flowers,

by the time i'd secured the rose's to the frame winter was on us,

Today this same frame really is looking the part, the roses are growing really well and this makes the shape of the dome really look nice and as its rose feeding time ive every chance of having a real garden feature to last all summer.
Ive errected solar lighting pointing down from the dome towards the ground and this gives that soft glowing light through the roses.

Every garden should have a feature, and the good old monkey puzzle tree is one worth thing about?

Ive a feeling we are in for a really hot summer, "hope so"

    regards punpun

    Hi Punpun

It's good to hear that you are managing to get back into the swing of things. I am assuming you have somewhere to sit to do all this repotting. My dad always had a 'high' chair which fitted nicely under the staging where he would spend many hours relaxing whilst he repotted his plants. When he became ill, guess who got the job.

    Don't overdo it!

    Hi All,
Well as ive this water problem (they tell me it's normal after the op) my other half has set me up in the kitchen on the breakfast bar and as Kit has said "a high chair" complete with a cushon that fits under one half of my Bum" and im only 12 walking sticks steps away from the ground floor loo.

Ah yes between potting on and the small T.V Jeremy and all those test to see who's the dad, and Tim's Bargain hunt and his red & blue team trying to find all those bargains, and later the JUDGE "judy"
Life couldnt be better,?????? Or could it?

Excuse me while i run up the wall once again!

    Hi Punpun

Before I retired, I worked 4 days and had Fridays off. I was a right lazy whatsit and sat watching TV thinking how good it would be if I could do it everyday. That was until I retired. I occasionally watch whilst I am having my breakfast but that's it.

It won't be long before you can dispense with the TV Punpun. Just put up with it for now!

I have the same trouble as you Punpun and I haven't even had a hip op!!
