    Hi all,
Well as ive said in the past "It's these long winter evenings thats the time to plan your spring/summer gardening projects Now with this in mind i thought it would be nice to share our plans,

I myself have been drawing out and working out price etc for a large wide path from our pool area across the lawn finishing up at the front entrance to our lawn.

I wanted to have a good 12 deep and 8 feet wide path with a border area on both sides for the long flowering plants but not to high type "tagget's come to mind.

Im not to keen on paths that are uniform, i'd rather have a bend or two in the path as i feel it gives that calming feel when you first see it.

Now having worked out all the anti weed covering and the top gravel !
All ive to decide is what size of gravel to use for the top,
"The boss (her indoors" likes the pea size of stone and i like the used slate,
but as i say this is the time of the year to make such plans and look forward to seeing the end results in the summer.

Anyone making any plans they'd like to share?

well i am new to this gardening lark, I cant tell you how much i enjoyed my garden last year.
I am a mother of two young children, and also work so my time in the garden can be limmited.
I find it very hard work but so rewarding.
I am looking forward to getting back into the garden this year.
Last year i dug borders all round the garden and then did start to widen them so that is a job that needs completing.
My fences need treating this year but thats a job im not looking forward to.
I have an area cleared so i can have a small vegetable patch which will be about 8foot by 8 foot, I grew my own tomatoes for the first time last year. And i am on the look out for a green house.
I collected loads of seeds last autumn and for christmas my inlaws bought me a propogator, so it will be a case of experimenting because i have no idea about how or when to use it so i expect i will sicken every one with a bombard of questions very soon.
Id also like to tidy up the front of the house, and brighten it up with pots.
Oh my i seem to have a busy year ahead !!
