I had great diffculty germinating Nicotiana Sylvestrie this spring but finally achieved some seedlings which have done well. I could not believe it when a few weeks ago I spotted several self germinated plants from the previous year growing well in an extremely dry bed! They hare still flowering & I know they are self germinating as they are in a different flower bed to this years plantings.Amazing!

I bought a plant this year because I got it into my head that it is a bianual. Silly me. It grew massively and is about 1.7m. I think I will have tons of self germinated ones if this winter is mild as I have spilled by mistake hundreds or even 1000 of seeds in the border where it lives.

How big are your self germinated ones? My plant is massive so I can't understand who you would be able to miss flowering plants.
