  Hi all,
  Well a goods days gardening had today but i couldnt help notice the birds are starting to look for food and because of this thought i thought i'd share a past experience with you,
  
  My late mother in-law would save all scraps and add a lot of bought bird seed and mix all this little lot up and this feast would be put into the old dustbin metal lid and then at the same time every day she'd carry it out into the front common grass area to feed the birds,
  
  The noise these birds would make as she carried this feast to the grass area was almost deafening
  and the birds had no fear of her.
  
  She always said a garden is'nt a garden if you dont have a visit from the birds daily "winter or summer!
  
  It's a strange thing the ways of some people and what you remember them for.
