Well by now most of my gardening friends on this thread would have had the news of our future from those in high places,
longer time until you can retire (66 years of age)
pay more tax, and for a lot of people "only the job centre to look forward to.
If ever there was a time to have your own plot and grow both some of your own food and have a space to be able to think, It's now more than ever.
Land for growing is worth more now than it ever was and in more ways than it ever was.
Take my advice and get into gardening and get something out of it.

All I want to do is compost Gordon Clown and Tony Bliar in the grounds of the Tower of London. Now that would help the environment..............
