Hi,
I have a Fuschia as in pic here :
However the label does not say whether its hardy or annual. Pls can someone advice? flowers look lovely so dodnt want to lose it - should i keep them indoors for winter?
Also peace lily is an indoor only plant isnt it or can it withstand the winter ?
Your fuchsia looks like the one called Thalia. If it is Thalia, I`m afraid it`s not frost hardy, and cannot take a temperature below about 5C.
Did it come with a name?
If your peace lily is Spathiphyllum that is also tender, and must be kept indoors in winter.
no the plant came neither with the name or any care intructions - just said Fuschia hanging. But thanks i googled up Thalia images and they look the same. So i'll take them indoors just to be safe. Thanks again for the help!
Try taking cuttings of your fuschia to keep indoors for the winter. Fuschias root very easily in water, though I usually do them earlier in the year.
