Hi,
I've started doing some voluntary gardening work for disabled people and one of the gardens i worked on has a very sunny spot at the back of her garden. She'd love to have some climbing plants going up the bare wall.
Its been suggested to me that Honeysuckle and early/late flowering clematis would work well. When would be the best time to plant these and if they arent suitable for planting now can you suggest something else for her please?
All suggestions very, very welcome. I can send a picture of the particular spot if that helps in any way!
Thank you in advance!
Rach
Is the soil near the wall wet or dry most of the time?
You pretty much have a wide variety of climbers to choose from. You could also try looking at Passion Flowers or even a Grape Vine, if she likes grapes to eat.
