    Hi,
Gardening can and will cover many areas in keeping the garden or allotment in a good state,

Im talking about some of the tools for the garden that some folk have and some dont such as a trailer for the collection of manure and the delivery to the local landfill site of the rubbish around the garden thats no longer needed,

Well today i filled our trailer with the garden waste ive not much use for ie laurel hedge cuttings, Now i know some folk will say "why not use them on the compost?" and some will say never use laurel on the compost, and not wanting to start world war 3 off i'll just say ive a local council run tip here in france that allows garden waste to be tipped and its simple for me to take it there, So guns back into there holster's and bunker wardens stand down.

Well this morning the weather has been a gardeners dream "sunny, warm, clear blue sky, birds singing, and me arriving at the tip at opening time 9am sharp! only to join a line of 4 cars complete with trailers and the first two cars also had the wifes with them.

The tip only being small will let the first 3 cars "and trailers" have enough room to reverse backwards and all three tip at approx the same time while number four (4) car/ trailer and in my case dog wait their turn But look and learn how to tip your waste.

    Question.
Why is it that every man or woman who drives with a trailer on (no matter how big or small) must try to go backwards while the trailer is connected to the car????

Well this morning the first car/trailer/ driver and wife decided to go backwards blocking all other drivers hopes of getting into thier tipping area's and while nearly killing each other with very very sharp words like "stupid bitch" and I know the back lights just fell off etc etc etc.

It was a very small trailer infact so small one couldnt help but think was it worth buying? You could get its load in the glove compartment and still have room.

All these people had to do was unhitch and push the trailer backwards, but "NO WAY" was this driver going to do that, Not when he can bend his tow bar frame, crack his car's rear lights and use a hell of a lot of fuel going up and down and even more breath shouting for the world to hear how stupid his wife was and telling all who'd hear that there was nothing wrong with his driving as he was an advanced driver.

Who said gardening was all peace perfect peace?

After reading that am very glad we have a 2 weekly 'pink' bin collection for garden waste, so anything that I cant happily compost goes in that.

A hatchback also very useful for other tip trips! J.

If i were driving with a trailer i would un hitch like you said, however my hubbie wouldnt he would carry on regardless, but i have to say he is very good with a trailer.
Being a driving instructor i advise my students that if there is a particular junction they know to be dangerous why make life hard, avoid it if an alternative route allows you too.
For example where i live there is a petrol station but if you approach from the one way you have to sit in the middle of the bypass, 60 mph speed limit most traveling much faster, waiting to cross on coming traffic, I will not do that as i have seen so many fatal accidents in that spot. Id rather go 1/4 mile up the road to the roundabout and come back to it from the other direction. but my hubbie insists i am wrong to advise that.
On the entertainment side have you ever sat and watched people trying to reverse and park behind another vehicle or try to pull into a bay at the super market?? Now that can be a giggle !!
