Hi Guys - not really gardening I know, but feel I have to tell you that my poinsettia from last Christmas is STILL lovely, lots of lovely red bracts and leaves still healthy. This is certainly a record for me, they usually give up on me by March-April at the latest. Nan x

My pointsettia is 4 years old and still has red bracts on it. I haven't put it in the dark for weeks as you are supposed to, but I keep it very moist.

It has fresh green leaves every year and obviously likes the position it's in (light but not direct sunlight).

My OH buys me one every Christmas but the others died by end of February.

    I guess it's just luck!
