Clivia are usually grown from seed, which needs to be as fresh as possible. Try search engining for 'clivia seeds', there seem to be several companies out there in the ether who sell them, and also instructions as to how to grow them are 'out there' as well. Hope you get lucky

They do not exist as bulbs. You can buy mature plants from GCs and as the plant is usually in flower you can see what colour you are buying.
A mature plant can easily be split and each shoot will eventually develop into a flowering plant. I have grown one for years and usually pollinate the flowers to produce seeds. They are slow to germinate and it will take several years for a plant to get large enough to flower. They need a period of cool temperatures (NOT frost) to encourage flowering.
If you know someone who has one see if they will spilt it and give you a piece. Otherwise it will be easier to buy one rather than try and grow one from seed.
By the way do not grow them in direct sun because the leaves scorch very easily.

It could take 5 years from seed to flower. I'd also advise buying adult plants, especially if they are in flower already. You leave the berries on the plant to ripen for about a year, then you can germinate your own seeds.
If you plan to plant clivias in pots, read up on the internet on getting the right growing medium because the roots rot easily in pots. They need a very free-draining medium such as composted pine bark.
