This is my very first question on this messageboard.I am new to gardening but very keen to try and learn. I pruned the grape vine yesterday and a clear liquid has started to leak out the cut on the main branch of the tree, I tried to seal it with wax but had no effect, How can I stop the leak or is it too late?

Try rubbing raw potato on the cuts - the starch may help to "seal" them (although you are a bit late with the pruning) Good luck. Nan x
