Knowing how Mother Nature gives with one hand and takes with the other, can anyone tell me if this volcanic ash is going to be good for our soil? It would be nice if gardeners and farmers will benefit from this to make up for the inconvenience many are experiencing.

errrr.... not exactly raining ash is it?
No but it is coming down?
Daisy
When and where is it coming down?
I believe that volcanic ash is in fact very fertile so there is no need to worry.
I believe some boarders have found some ash and I actually wasnt worried, I just wondered if it would in fact do some good. We think we have had a small amount here in Surrey.
The cars in my area are covered in dust and muck, happened a few years ago when there were blizzards in the sharah only then it was sand, not saying it did us any harm but there will eventually be some fall out from the volcanic ash, what goes up will eventually come down
