I am new to the board but I just had to share this- my darling mum-in-law took me to Lanhydrock today where we spent the most magical two hours strolling around the gardens and I have to confess - I am in love! The magnolias were absolutely stunning, and I am now converted to camelias!
Welcome to the boards - nice to have some more Cornish locals
The magnolias at Lanhydrock are quite stunning, but some of the best I have ever seen are the ones at Hilliers and better still the ones at Caerhays Castle, where you can spend a complete day just wandering.
The thing I adore about Cornwall this time of year is the enormous Acaccia in full bloom - beautiful.
Hi
The magnolias and camellias are spectacular at Trengwainton this year - the head gardener said they are the best for 5yrs.
