I have raked and raked and raked some more. Then rolled and raked again. After a bit more raking I sowed the grass seed. Then I was really naughty and used the hose to water them in - we are in the SE! I may have to do this at night in the future as I suspect my nasty neighbours would love to split on me.
Then I sowed all 12 (yes twelve ) of my pathetically chitted potatoes. I do only have a tiny plot and could only manage 2 small rows.
Now, can anyone tell me what it is in the soil that makes the tips of your fingers go really rough? I don't want to use gloves but it happens to me every time I touch the stuff.
Oh, then I planted up a Honeysuckle that had been forgotten about - I hope it isn't dead.
And just to add, it was T-shirt weather today, and I think I may even have a touch of sunburn on my cheeks!! Shame the nights are still very cold though.

Hi - choo choo train aka S, sounds like a nice day. Can you believe I have been mugging up on the changes to pension legislation for tomorrow - A day - I am so sad. I also e-mailed that link you sent me because I had no confirmation of order for Rosa Eva or money debited. They have given me a phone no to ring, so that is good!
Hope you have a nice day tomorrow - 2 more for me, then the weekend!!
Take care - PA
Lottie Lady and I think that the best way to chit potatoes is to give them to your nearest Post Office and let them look after them for a week! The result ......perfect white chits
Susie
You deserve one of your sshhhsppecial milshaes now Skarloey...

Hi PA,
Sorry to hear your rose has got lost but at least they haven't billed you for it.
We're both on holiday at the moment (OH is a teacher) so we are aiming for one day in the garden and one day out etc and so far, this week has been great. I'm back to work next week though but I only do 2 shifts a week so plenty of time to go and see Thomas the Tank Engine at the Watercress Line.
Hope your last 2 days this week will be short ones.

Hi Lottie,
We're all out of baileys I'm afraid but am just about to pour myself a rather large rum and diet cherry coke...... purely medicinal of course I need to take my mind off the callouses and sore abdominal muscles. Still the 6 pack is coming along nicely

If memory serves me correctly, broggling is a bit of a rummage to see what is developing - how sensitive are your feet? That would probably be the deciding factor??

The Nasty Post Office Lady turns chit's white PA - Yours should be purpley green - Susie's only went white cos they were in the parcel for a week and they would'nt let Mr Snowdrop have the parcel and will you please confirm to Ms Snowdrop that feet broggling is NOT ALLOWED! Toadspawn would be quite shocked at the thought!

O.K, so you can broggle your bucket spuds but how do you know when your ground spuds are ready?

I am sure TS is quite broad-minded - if your hands are otherwise engaged and you have sensitive feet - not sure what the problem is ??
Maybe TS can give us his opinion ??? Or am I pushing my luck !!!

My feet are very sensitive and I'm going broggle away quite happily with my little pinkies.
