I honestly don't know why I haven't thought of this before! It makes such good sense! Here's the plan .......... you all come and stay with me, board and lodge free, for a couple of weeks. During this time you can help me finish my garden. Don't you think that is such a brilliant idea.
I'm afraid I'm getting rather impatient now, OH has been busy with work so not much progress has been made
It was supposed to be finished by my birthday (7th May) but it probably won't be finished until my birthday NEXT year! Ah, well, all good things come to those who wait! Trouble is I DON'T WANNA WAIT.
I shall seek solace with my newly planted potatoes!

Hi Susie! Aw hunnie - it's such a lovely project and although it's a tempting offer I have far too many other things on my plate at the moment. Try to be patient - it will get done in the end, and think of all the plants you can then buy for your new garden - and the cuttings!!! Px

Plocket, wouldn't it be awful if the Postman stopped coming to my house and everything had to be delivered in person
I am starting to think that maybe the holiday idea wasn't such a good one after all. Apart from Andy but I'm sure he's just looking to get rid of his offspring for a while.
I shall have to think of another ploy to get everyone here!

I would help Susie - but I am more rubbish at bricklaying than I am at gardening! You would send me home after a morning! If only Ground Force was still going - you would be the ideal candidate

It would be an absolute trajedy Susie - you might end up getting nothing!!!!! I did like Andy's idea and thought for a while that I could come up with LP, and you could look after her too! Three kiddiwinks to look after? Have a hug before you faint at the idea

, I've been thinking, maybe this isn't such a bad idea after all. So, bring the kiddy winks, there will be a nominal charge of £500 per week. I can take about 4 at a time after which, I should have enough pennies to PAY someone to finish the garden.

Susie, just had a thought. Why don't we all have a party at your house ?
The theme could be "bring a fork" and we could all bring you a plant as a present.
A good idea ?

Let me explain.....!!! Steaming was a cooking ref to my typo - the best fit -I hate cooking so Aunt Bessie suits me - when I say I can do - it is just an expression - I would have preferred Ireland but have no objections to other parts - I can do Asda when M&S isn't convenient - am I digging a deeper hole or do you all know me better now???
