Has anyone made a deck with a big curve like a quarter circle but with the deck being on the outside of the circle so the curve would be into the deck. Sorry that's a bit garbled but it's hard to explain.
Also, are there any real idiot's guides, a video even, which would give me the confidence to go ahead and do it myself?
Any advice much appreciated.

Think about how your decking will sit before you start to build the base then go ahead, lay out and fix the decking planks and then trim to shape with a good jig saw and finish according to taste and budget.
Thanks for the link Obelixx. This is very like the guide in one of ATs books but I need an even more basic step by step than this - I'm very cack handed. Pictures would help. I'll resort to a google but I wondered if anyone had already found instructions that even a monkey could follow!!
Head for the library. I expect Tommy from Ground Force has written a How To book or similar.
Hi
Try this link . It may be of help.

I've done a couple (even one that looked like an artist's palette, complete with built-in water feature, lights and 2 mature cordylines growing through holes in the deck!). Use a jig saw to get the basic shape, then use a belt sander to smooth off then a router with a rounding over bit to get the best finish. You can hire these tools if you don't have them.
Hi Pete
Ok I'm going to be brave and reveal exactly how spatially-challenged I am. Here goes.
The frame of the deck will be square/rectangular but the decking on top will be cut to a curve. This means that the frame won't support all the curve at its edge so how far away from the supporting frame can the edge of the deck get. I know it will be screwed down to the frame where possible, but there's bound to be an overhang in places.
See - told you - I NEED help!!
