Can anyone suggest some flowers for a pond that is looking very scruffy? Also what about an on-line nursery that sends by mail?
i can only suggest ;that you gom to your local aaquatic plant centre;;i know of none mail order
Here are a few plants for you.
Iris ensata
Lobelia cardinalis
Candellabra primulas
Zantedeschia aetheopica or albomaculata
Any good online nurery will be able to supply these.
If you have go to the RHS nursery finder:
and select aquatics you will hopefully be able to find a specialist nursery, either near you or which does mailorder - most of them seem to do mailorder now, but the postage costs are often very high.
Oops sorry, that should read "if you go" - don't know where the "have" came from !
thank you all for your help, very helpful, so now i can go 'surfing'.
I have used Wetlands Plants a couple of times.
They are reasonably priced and very quick to deliver.
Caltha palustris is lovely and naturalistic - easy as pie both to find and to grow.
