Am I slitl flul of Gsnueis form lsat ngiht
Yes Paltnalihoc,
I've been in the garden and woodstaining is my middle name!
I'm on my way out again to woodstain a shed, and I received from my cousin Frans some (at least 10) buxusses. They are Gigantic!
I'm thinking of a right spot for them.
Take care, enjoy you sunday!
aenlnejise
Hi anneliesje
Have you planted your 10 buxusses yet or is that buxi?
I was in the garden all morning reshaping some of the front lawn and generally tidying up again.
This afternoon I intended starting to plant some of the shrubs because it is very mild today and ideal for gardening.
However following on from a phonecall from my M.I.L.at dinner time concerned about my F.I.L. he has now been taken to hostpital with severe chest pains and may be admitted and so I am afraid the gardening has come to a stand still today. Ijust hope he is going to be ok as he has been poorly for a while now and so it is very worrying.
Hi Plantaholic - hope all goes well with your FIL - sending good thoughts your way
Great thread by the way!
LL x
Thanks Lottie Lady
I have just heard they are keeping him in hospital to do some tests. They don't think it is his heart even though he had a bypass in the past. So we will have to wait and see what the results are.
Re the thread it's quite unnerving really that we understand words with just the first and last letters in the right place isn't it???????
Plantaholic x
Sey ti si!
P.S. Hope your father-in-law is o.k. Best Wishes Pam x
Hiya Pnaholailc, Yeah, I agree, easy to read, horrendous to type!!
Sorry to hear things are a bit worrying for you at the moment. Hope your FIL is ok and home soon.
Susie x
Hi Plantaholic,
I just read your message! Hope your FIL will be OK soon! Wish you a lot of courage! Hope everything will turn out good soon!
Regarding the buxi , 4 big ones are in. These were bare rooted. Some others are in pots and I keep them this way for the moment, till I'm finished reshaping the borders and replanting the stuff that is already in it.
The woodstaining of the shed is done too and OH is half way in camouflaging the compost heap. Actually I was standing on the compostheap to work on the shed. Normally a habitat for a rooster, but I felt quite good on it as well!
Ah, patience is a good virtue, but I lack it completely!
I'm really happy with what I've done this weekend in the garden. Friday I have a day off, I have to drive my mother to hospital to get her eyes checked. But I'm sure there will be time left for more woodstaining and replanting!
Take care!
Not quite got the point ,have I ????? Sey ti si!Â
Thanks Susie
Just a case of keeping fingers crossed. Its my second marriage and my OH is an only one and his 2 children who are in their twenties worship my FIL (their grandad)and they are obviously very very upset. Anyway lets hope it's a positive outcome.

Hi Plantaholic - yes, good luck to FIL, I know how worrying it is.
Do you remember the posters in pubs that said " if you can't see what's wrong this with poster, you shouldn't be driving home" - even when sober, it took me ages to work it out!!!! I think my brain automatically turns things round and re-assembles!!!!
Did get a bit of eye-ache at the beginning of this thread though!!!
Regards and best wishes - PA

Hi everyone not had chance to get on the boards until now.
Thanks for your support and I thought I would give you an update
I think things have gone from bad to worse today!!!!!!!!!!
FIL improving and may be allowed home at weekend.
However his younger brother visited him in hospital on Tuesday afternoon and this morning he died!!!!!!!!Totally unexpected because he was quite an active man.
Obviously everyone is shocked and we are hoping it doesn't affect FIL's progress!
You just never know do you????????
Plantaholic x
What an awful news!
Terrible for your FIL to see his brother pass away.
We should remember to try and enjoy every single day, even if it is a nasty day. But of course this is easier said than done.
Take care!
Anneliesje

Hello Plantaholic, Just wanted to send you my Love Pam XXX
Big thanks to everyone it is really special to receive such kind words and s
FIL still ok but will stay in hospital until at least Monday.
OH off work today as well as me as he is just shattered with everything emotionally and physically. He is an only one and so there is noone else to visit and transport his mum to and from hospital etc..
Anyway the good news is FIL is on the mend and I managed to get in the garden this afternoon!
