Yes it's that time of the week again. I've not got much planned for the weekend as far as gardening is concerned, as I'm off to my folks tomorrow afternoon. BUT mum and dad have said I can "do" their garden as mine is somewhat smaller than theirs. A vast blank canvas! So I'm going to have a good look on Sunday, and see where I can start, and how I can start.

Hope you all enjoy the weekend, even if you have to go to work.

See where you can put all the clems you mean !! smiley - biggrin

Got plans for the weekend which mainly involve digging the front borders out some more (hopefully to get it finished) and then we'll take it from there and see how the mood takes me.

I just hope it's a bit warmer than it has been for the last couple of days. Spring sprung on Wednesday but Thursday and Friday have been bl@@dy winter again !

    Cheers

Unfortunately Andy my mother doesn't share my passion for clematis! I might get the odd one (or so) planted in secret but I'll have to do the maintenance!

Hope the digging goes well. Will eldest sprog help at all? I think it makes a great difference having the family with me while I'm working, even if they are playing!!! I'm not sure the weather is going to be better here, but I hope it's condusive to your plans Andy. Enjoy the weekend.

I'm meeting the same allotment group I met today, on Sunday. I said I'd dole out sunflower seeds for those that want them. I got some from an A4A contributor last year, so continuing to spread the good word about sunflowers. I have several little envelopes with 20 seeds an envelope all ready for new homes...

I didn't prune my roses today, the rule of thumb for doing so. I'll do that on Sunday too I'd say. Only problem is, there's a wonderful flower on one. It has been on all year. I am not looking forward to pruning it, even if it'll be better in the long run for the plant. I'll have to do it. Just bring it indoors and stick it in a little vase.
