Does anyone have experience of using puddled clay to line a domestic pond, about 4 x 2 metres, or know of reference source for instructions, please?
A source and thickness of clay would be a start.

If you're doing it a la Capability Brown, when you've got your 4-6 inch layer of clay in the bottom (having had several score of peasants dig the pond/lake out by hand over a few months...) you need a herd of sheep (or cows, but sheep are better) to stamp it about a bit...
