......you don't use the message boards for a week or two following the birth of your baby and what happens - they all flamin well change when you come back ! Hopefully I've done all the new rigmarole and this message will appear somewhere near to where I want it to !
Just thought I'd say Hi to everyone and hope you're all ok. Bubba is ok, although I can hear him crying downstairs at the moment - Mrs A will see to him, don't worry - and most importantly, he's sleeping reasonably well at night (9 unbroken hours last night between 8pm and 5am !).
Garden is suffering at the moment. Haven't given it any attention whatsoever since the babe arrived (6 weeks now). I must try and get out there because it's a mess at the moment. I have cut the lawns a couple of times though - at least that's something !!
Cheers
Andy
Hi Andy, nice to see you back (though you seem to have gained weight since the boards changed ! - won't the new boards let you just be Andy?!). Glad to hear you are managing to get some sleep too! I shouldn't worry too much about the messy garden - it's a bit cold to do much now - you can always just say you've put it on hold until the Spring!
Hi Andy! It's great to hear that the family are doing well, but your name seems to have expanded!
As for the garden, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. There's been enough cold weather recently to put things on hold so I'd just let nature run it's course.
See you when you next get a chance!
Hi Plocket. It's not just my name that's expanding. I used to have a waistline but now it feels more like a coastline !! Actually, I think it said something about the name having to be at least 6 letters so I couldn't just be "Andy". At least that's how I read it. I could've been "Andy 05" or something but I'm feeling lardy at the moment so I thought "Fat Andy" was more appropriate !!
Hope all's well with you. My Montana Primrose Star is thriving, btw. I may have kept it in a pot for about 5 months before I planted it but it hasn't done it any harm !
Cheers
Andy x
Oh don't go there Andy - we've got Christmas to face next!!!!!
Your Primrose Star sounds great - but watch out if we get long cold spells! I cut a bit of mine back the other day as it was getting rather rampant. It reached the top of the 6ft trellis and went horizontal along the fence! I haven't checked it since the frosts...
It's lovely to see you here again - see you again soon!
