Are we still allowed to post under OTGF? And is this the right board to do it on?
Hello Plocket. Lets hope so.
Hello Plocket,
What is OTGF please?
sara
Hi Sara OTGF stands for "Over the garden fence" a subboard on the old messageboard system thet was used for non garden related chit chat amongst the members of the gardening board. It got axed quite a while ago. Now the prefix OTGF is used on the design inspiration section to indicate that the thread is (slightly) off topic.
Thank you
Hi all. I see we've got new board titles too. Where will i tell you about my garden visits next week - if any? Oh well - have a good time while I'm off. See you on the 7th.
I guess you'd still do it on this board Obelixx. Visiting gardens provides inspiration in my opinion. Have a good trip and see you soon!
I don't like it here. Look what I've turned into.
Hello!! I am here ... I think. Goodness knows which message I am replying to, but ... hello everyone!
Obelix with a kiss, please post all the tales of your trip to the Lakes here!
Has anyone commented on the 'lovely' yellow colour scheme yet?
I've mentioned it on the allium thread on the Clinic. It's a GROSS colour! The colour of puke in my opinion!

Goodness Plocket! What on earth have you been eating?! I think the colour is quite pretty, but then yellow is my favourite colour, and I know these things vary a lot from PC to PC.
Well if you really want to know, the last time I was sick I had been eating carrots!!!
And on my computer this is a horrible grubby yellowy-brown colour, not a pretty cheerful yellow. Can we swap PCs please?
There's always carrots isn't there, even if you've not been eating them (They do add something these smilies!!!!)
Oh don't even go there Beejay!
Sorry
I love these smilies!
or my dear? It's absolute
I'm glad you're all still here. I don't post very often but I do enjoy listening. I'm in an office by myself at the moment and it can get a bit lonely..I used to be Merlin in a previous life but had to do what everyone else seems to have had to do & register with a different name.
Hey listening is just fine! Glad you made it here and feel free to join in when you want!
Thanks!I might even have to add a smiley next time...
Most of the new DNA boards Plocket dont mind off topic chat-so hopefuly the hosts here will do the same.
Fingers crossed - and I've just found out why we don't often get replies from the Mods - the gardening boards are classed as "reactively moderated" which means they only get looked at if there is a complaint. Perhaps someone should complain about Lord Steve's post to get it noticed!!!
