I live in an area with alot of bracken, has anyone tried composting it to use as a mulch?
Fine provided you can compost it properly, otherwise you'll end up with an infestation of the stuff
Yes I think the National Trust do this as a peat alternative. Beware of scything bracken when it is producing spores, as inhalling the spores is a health hazzard linked to cancer.
