Hi i have never grown sprouts from seeds before always bought live plants from marshalls.
Should i start them off in my propagator this weekend or is it still to early then transplant them when they are big enough then put in greenhouse in about march time then hardin off in about april to plant out.
Any advice
Many thanks

As you won't be eating the sprouts until the Autumn and Winter IMO it is too early to start them. They don't need a propagator, just a seed tray in the greenhouse, or you can wait until you can sow them outside, they are hardy.
You don't want to plant them out too early as they take up the ground for such a long time.
What does it say about planting them out on the packet? We have usually done it in June or July, as for preference we favour late Brussels Sprouts varieties.
You are right to go for seeds. More choice of variety, much cheaper and much more satisfying.
